There are different ways to visit Hawaii.
1) You can FLY down and spend some time on each of the islands, flying from one island to another - but that is inefficient and expensive and you're packing and unpacking and spending lots of time at airports. So that's not the best way
2) You can CRUISE down and back from the Mainland. But that means you spend 4-5 days on the water each way and only spend about 5-6 days total in the islands. Even if you cruise ONE WAY and fly the other direction, flights are expensive and you still don't get enough time in the islands. And that is TOO MUCH TIME on the Pacific which is often rough. So that's not the best way.
3) YOU CAN FLY DOWN, CRUISE THE ISLANDS AND FLY BACK. This is the best option for several reasons: a) You get 7 full days in the islands (Oahu, 2 days on Maui, 1 1/2 days on Kauai and a day each at Hilo and Kona on the Big Island. You can extend for 2 days on Oahu prior to the cruise. This is a little more expensive, but WELL WORTH IT as you enjoy maximum time on the islands and a chance to sail between the islands at night. AND, you get to sail be an erupting volcano at night AND sail by the stunning NA PALI COAST on Kauai.
Space is limited. Cabins start at just $1,795 plus air (includes cruise, taxes, port charges, government fees and Hawaii GET Tax). Call to reserve!
