In June, 2011 David Webb will lead a group to Peru. This 10 day tour will focus on the treasures of South America’s most fascinating country. We’ll fly to Lima and enjoy the colonial history of America’s oldest city. A short flight takes us to the Peruvian Amazon for two days for a jungle experence you'll never forget. We’ll enjoy ample time in Cusco, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Pisac and, of course, Machu Picchu. But not the way most see Machu Picchu (which is on a day trip from Cusco). We’ll travel by coach in to the Sacred Valley to the end of the road. We’ll take a two hour train ride to Machu Picchu and sleep in the nearby town (which has lovely accommodations). We’ll have an entire day to enjoy Machu Picchu the next day before returning to Cusco.

This tour is offered twice due to its popularity. This is MUCH MORE than just the incredible Canadian Rockies. We fly to Seattle and spend a day in the charming San Juan Islands (Friday Harbor, lavender fields, alpaca farms & more). We’ll ferry to Victoria (Butchart Gardens, Empress Hotel), then to Vancouver (Capilano Bridge) and into the towering Rockies. It is North America’s most dramatic scenery. We’ll have lunch at Lake Louise, take the Icefield Parkway to the amazing Columbia Icefields and enjoy two nights in the Banff area.
