England and Norway
Overview

Webb Tours has taken many groups to Europe.  In my opinion, Norway is the most beautiful country in Europe.  The combination of mountains, fjords, ocean countryside and waterfalls makes it a stunning place to see.  Because of that, it is also the most expensive country in Europe, WHICH IS WHY A CRUISE IS THE BEST WAY TO SEE IT.  No hotel rooms or meals to pay for while on land – but still being able to enjoy the incredible scenery.  Wonderful excursions are available at each port.

ADD TO THAT, a chance to enjoy a bit of London and the spectacular Cotswold Villages (in the midlands of England) and you have an exceptional cruise that is not to be missed!

But this is popular and to get the best stateroom, you should get on board early – REMEMBER, you can cancel anytime for any reason up to March 1, 2025, so don’t be left out!

Itinerary

July 31 & August 1, 2025:  Today we board our flight to London, England.  We will arrive in London  the following morning and we’ll be met by our local guide. It’s important to stay awake and we’ll do so with an interesting tour of London showing us the highlights of this incredible city with time for lunch along the way. This afternoon, we will transfer out to the Oxford area and check into our hotel. It is wonderful to be in England! Dinner is included near the hotel this evening.

August 2: This morning we’ll explore this part of England which boasts some of the most beautiful countryside and charming towns in Europe. This is the fabled Cotswolds. We’ll show you some of our favorites including Bourton on the Water, Broadway and more. If time permits, we’ll make a photo stop at Blenheim Palace where Winston Churchill was born.  We will then transfer to the ship which sails at 5:30 this evening. Breakfast included at hotel and Dinner included on the ship.

August 3:  At sea today making our way to Norway.

August 4:  Port of Call in Haugesund, Norway on Norway’s southwest coast. Our local guides will be waiting for us to show us around. We’ll see the famous Haraldshaugen National Monument and other highlights before enjoying the scenery of the Akrajforden (a 20 mile fjord with stunning views) with lots of picture stops. We’ll also drive up to the top of Steinsfjellet Trail and take in the breathtaking views of the town and the ocean. Those who are physically able may choose to do the hike to beautiful Langfoss Waterfall. A less demanding trail in town showcases other parts of this beautiful area.  We are in port from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Note: In each port, Webb Tours will offer a private excursion for a price that is much lower than what the ship offers and with better quality. You’ll have the chance to join our excursions or book a diffeerent one through the ship. Shore Excursions are not included in the tour price.

August 5:  Port of Call in Skjolden, Norway:  Skjolden is a picturesque village in Vestland County, Western Norway. It’s located at the head of the Sognefjorden, the longest navigable fjord in the world, making the sail there a spectacle in and of itself. It is a small town of only 300 inhabitants that offers peace and quiet together with a breathtaking landscapes with 3 national parks at its doorstep (Jostedalsbreen, Breheimen and Jotunheimen). Our private excursion today will showcase the beauty of this area (more details to come). After our private excursion, you can walk on your own to see a lovely waterfall called Asafossen which is accessible by foot.  We’ll be in port from 8:00 to 4:00.

August 6:  Port of Call in Olden, Norway:  This is one of my favorite places in Norway and very few cruise ships can stop because it is very small and charming.  Olden has a population of just 505 and is home to some of Norway’s most breathtaking glaciers. Our excursion will take us to  Briksdal Glacier where you can walk up to the glacier viewpoint or go in a vehicle that will take you most of the way. The views are truly out of this world. Back in town, you can see the picturesque church, do some shopping or just sit and take in the views.   We’ll be in port from 9:00 to 5:00.

August 7:  Port of Call in Stavanger: Nestled amongst some of the most beautiful natural attractions, Stavanger, on the Lysejford, is the fourth largest city in Norway. The Lysefjord is a very scenic part of Norway. Our private excursion today is a cruise through the fjord. We will be boarding a smaller boat (capacity of about 100) and cruise through the scenery to Forsand where we will enter Lysefjord for incredible views. This is not just a natural attraction, but a journey into the heart of Norway’s stunning landscapes. We will sail past famous Pulpit Rock (from below) and many other prominent landmarks. At the end if the excursion, we will return to the port of Stavanger and you can have some time to enjoy the town.  The ship is in port from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

August 8: At sea today.

August 9:  Ship arrives in Southampton today at 6:00 AM.  We will transfer to the airport for our flight home, arriving on the evening of the same day (July 19).

*Note: As with any cruise, shore excursions are optional and not included in the price. You are free to join us on our excursions or choose from what the ship has to offer. Pricing for our private excursions will be available at the beginning of 2025.
